Hi, I’m Violetta, but you can call me Violet.

I was born and raised in Russia, and about eight years ago I moved to the U.S. Now I’m based in Charlotte, North Carolina, a place I’m proud to call home. I’m a coffee lover, a cat mom of two, and someone who’s always up for exploring new places. I love long walks, discovering hidden spots, and traveling- it’s something that has always inspired me, and now I’m so grateful to live a life where I can actually experience it. I’m also married, which gives me a very personal connection to the couples I photograph. I’ve been in your shoes- I know how it feels, what matters, and how meaningful those moments are. That experience helps me see your day not just as a photographer, but as someone who truly understands what you want to remember.

My artistic journey

My journey with photography started when I was 14 and got my first camera. What began as simple curiosity quickly became something I couldn’t imagine my life without. Over time, I fell in love with capturing real moments, not just how things look, but how they feel. I started photographing people, learning through experience, and developing my own visual style. Each session, each story, and each couple helped shape me as a photographer. Today, my work is a reflection of that journey honest, emotional, and deeply connected to real life.

How I shoot

My approach is natural, relaxed, and intentional. I’m not about stiff poses or forcing anything instead, I’ll gently guide you while giving you plenty of space to just be yourselves. I pay attention to the little things like light, movement, emotion and especially those in-between moments that end up meaning the most. The ones you don’t plan, but will always remember. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully present. Because that’s when everything starts to feel easy, and your story unfolds in the most genuine way in front of my camera.
